CT Scan
Work-Related Injury (WSIB) / Health Insurance / Corporate Coverage
In conjunction with receiving funding to provide MRI/CT services to provincial health insurance patients, CML HealthCare's MRI/CT clinics specialize in non-provincial health insurance patients, including WSIB, insurance, employer’s, clinical trial studies, medical legal, and out-of-province patients.
Work-Related Injury: CML HealthCare provides CT scanning services for injuries sustained by employees in the course of employment. The provincial body responsible for workers’ compensation and/or insurance on behalf of primary care physicians and specialists providing care to the injured worker typically requests these services.
Insurance: You may have coverage for a CT exam from your extended health provider. If your physician has completed a referral form for a CT scan, you can check with your insurance company to determine whether you have coverage for one. If you have insurance coverage, please let the CT booking representative at CML HealthCare know. You will require written authorization from your physician.
Corporations: A patient's employer may pay for an MRI or CT scan. It is recommended that you first ask your company whether you have coverage. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
