Work-Related Injury (WSIB) / Health Insurance Coverage / Corporate Coverage

In conjunction with receiving funding to provide MRI/CT services to provincial health insurance patients, CML HealthCare’s MRI/CT clinics specialize in non-provincial health insurance patients, including WSIB, insurance, employers, clinical trial studies, medical legal, and out-of-province plans.

Work-Related Injury: CML HealthCare provides MRI services for injuries sustained by employees in the course of employment. The provincial body responsible for workers’ compensation and/or insurance on behalf of primary care physicians and specialists providing care to the injured worker typically requests these services.

Health Insurance: You may have coverage for an MRI exam from your extended health provider. If your physician has completed a referral form for an MRI, you can check with your insurance company to determine whether you have coverage for an MRI. Please inform the MRI booking representative at CML HealthCare if you have insurance coverage. You will require written authorization from your physician.

Corporations: Your employer may pay for an MRI or CT exam. It is recommended that you first inquire with your company to see if you have coverage. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
